Mamuka Tsereteli, President of the US-Georgia Business Council, was awarded the "Face&Names" prize. The prize was awarded to him for his outstanding contribution to the development of business relations between the United States and Georgia. The award ceremony was held on April 11 in Washington, DC, in Congress, on the event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Georgian parliamentarism organized by the Embassy of Georgia and the “Atlantic Council”, where publishing house “Faces&Names” presented the international media project “Turning Points” by New York Times with the main topic: “Georgian-American Relations”.
Within the framework of this project, individuals and organizations were awarded, who make a special contribution to the development of Georgian-American political, social and cultural relations. 
Astamur Chazmava, co-founder of BWC, a partner company of “Faces&Names” presented the award to the President of the US-Georgia Business Council. 
Mamuka Tsereteli is one of those who participated in the establishment of the first Georgian-American diplomatic relations. He has been working in America since 1994. Today he is engaged in the export of Georgian wine and its promotion on the American market, at the same time, he is a senior researcher at the Central Asia and Caucasus Research Institute. He has successfully established himself in the analytical circles of Washington and is one of the qualified experts on Caucasus issues. Mamuka Tsereteli: "The trajectory of Georgia-US partnership is constantly deepening. Of course, I would like more American investment in Georgia and more trade and economic relations, especially in terms of developing new technologies and integrating Georgia into the modern global technology system.
